Welcome to year 4!
Welcome to Year 4, a year of growing confidence and independence in learning. Building on the skills and knowledge developed in Year 3, children are encouraged to think more deeply, make connections across subjects and take greater responsibility for their work. In Year 4, pupils develop fluency and accuracy in reading, writing and mathematics, while strengthening their problem-solving and reasoning skills. Through engaging lessons, collaborative activities and increased challenge, we support children in becoming resilient, reflective learners who are confident to share ideas and ready to continue their Key Stage 2 journey.
