
The school was highlighted for its support of young carers, with more than 30 pupils taking on significant responsibilities for family members at home.
The programme showcased the challenges these children face and their resilience in balancing caring duties with their education.
Former British diplomat and The Traitors UK contestant, Alexander Dragonetti, visited the school to meet the young carers and learn about their daily lives.
He spent the day listening to their stories, gaining insight into their unique experiences.
Pastoral care worker Kelly Hawkins plays a crucial role at the school, supporting the young carers and ensuring they have a trusted adult to confide in.
The school also collaborates with My Time Young Carers, a charity providing the children with recreational activities to help them relax and socialise.
Headteacher Scott Tait said: "I couldn't be more proud of these children.
"They show incredible courage and maturity every day, and it's a privilege to see their stories shared on such a prominent platform."
Kelly Hawkins added: "It was an honour to share their stories on a national platform like The One Show and to have Alexander visit and connect with them."
